As the largest professional association in Europe, the BBK is a strong solidarity community and lobby for all visual artists in Germany. In constant contact with the responsible federal ministries, with the legislator and with subordinate authorities, the BBK strives to create adequate legal and social conditions for our profession.

As a professional representation of freelance visual artists, primarily from the Central Hessian region, the BBK Marburg-Mittelhessen regional association represents the economic, cultural and social interests of the artistic community vis-à-vis political institutions at the municipal to federal level.
